AbstractThe development of a few MeV/n carbon ion injector using laser-driven ion acceleration by Target-Normal Sheath Acceleration (TNSA) is carrying out. And the prototype injector has been completed at QST-Kansai in Japan. The beam commissioning is underway and first data on beam characteristics obtained from them will be presented.
