| Abstract | Vertical tests of single-spoke resonator type 1 (SSR1) superconducting cavities were conducted in conjunction with high-pressure rinsing (HPR) simulations to assess and improve cavity performance. The quality factor (Q) was evaluated as a function of the accelerating field (Eacc), Lorentz force detuning (LFD), and pressure sensitivity. In the HPR simulations, water droplet dynamics emitted from a 0.5 mm diameter nozzle operating at 100 bar were analyzed as a function of travel distance. The simulations provided detailed estimates of the velocity and impact force of the water jet, which are critical for optimizing cavity surface cleaning. |
