AbstractThe planned upgrade of the synchrotron light source at DESY, Hamburg will include an upgrade of the booster synchrotron. We discuss the considerations for the design of a slow resonant extraction from this future machine. The implementation of a bent crystal as a potential septum shadower and/or as a septumless option is considered.
