Title Studies on Collective Instabilities in HEPS

Abstract The High Energy Photon Source (HEPS) is a new designed photon source at beam energy of 6 GeV. Due to the small beam size and increased coupling impedance with the restricted beam pipe aperture, the collective effects may bring new challenges to the physical design of the machine. The collective instabilities are estimated for different operation mode. The critical instability issues are also identified for each mode.
