Abstract Libera Sync 3 can be used as a reference clock transfer system in the latest fourth generation light sources where the long-term stability is in the range of a few tens of femtoseconds of drift per day. The system has been developed in collaboration with the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) and first units are already tested in SwissFEL machine. In this article we present the influence of temperature and humidity changes on the long-term phase stability of the system.
